Ottoman Hands is a British fashion jewellery brand that bridges the gap between eastern heritage and western style. Inspired by the allure of the Ottoman Empire, the brand creates contemporary jewelry that feels like a modern heirloom. Every piece is handcrafted in a small workshop in Istanbul using 21ct gold-plated brass and handset with semi-precious stones, ensuring a unique, artisanal finish. The brand has gained international acclaim for its modern antique aesthetic, frequently appearing in high-fashion editorials and on screen in productions like The Crown. Their designs are characterized by rich textures, ancient symbols, and a commitment to preserving traditional Turkish craftsmanship.

Our collections are hand-crafted by skilled artisans, gold-plated with up to 21ct for a high quality finish on recycled brass or recycled sterling silver and hand set with semi-precious gemstones, which makes every piece different and unique.

The brand was founded by Deniz Gurdal in 2010. Deniz started the business from a stall in London’s Portobello Market, fueled by her passion for the historic jewelry-making traditions of her native Turkey and a desire to bring that craftsmanship to a global audience.
